Corebral Injectable is a veterinary solution specifically designed to treat vitamin B1 and B6 deficiencies in cattle, goats, sheep and dogs. This powerful, targeted formula plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of your animals, by acting directly on the nervous and muscular systems.
Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine hydrochloride, is essential for the proper functioning of the nervous system. It acts as a cofactor in carbohydrate metabolism, facilitating the production of energy needed for muscle contraction. Thiamine deficiency can lead to an accumulation of toxic waste products from the incomplete breakdown of carbohydrates, which can cause serious neurological disorders. By offering rapid and complete assimilation, Corebral Injectable ensures that thiamine quickly reaches tissues including the brain, liver, kidneys and heart, where it is stored for prolonged action.
Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine hydrochloride, is another essential component of this product. It plays a key role in amino acid processing and tryptophan metabolism, contributing to haemoglobin formation. Pyridoxine is also involved in hepatic glycogen metabolism, which is crucial for maintaining muscle and heart energy. Thanks to efficient absorption and storage mainly in the liver, vitamin B6 guarantees continuous support for the vital functions of animals treated with Corebral Injectable.
How to use this product
To administer Corebral Injectable, we recommend that you carefully follow the dosage instructions for the animal species concerned. For cattle, sheep, goats and dogs, the recommended dose is 1 ml per 10 kg live weight per day, corresponding to 4.46 mg/kg thiamine and 2.06 mg/kg pyridoxine. In general, a single injection is sufficient to correct the deficiency. However, in more severe cases, doses may be doubled, but only on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.
For non-conventional pets (NACs), such as ferrets and reptiles, dosage is adapted according to weight and species. For ferrets, for example, the recommended dose is 0.05 ml/kg intramuscularly or subcutaneously. For reptiles, it varies from 50 to 100 mg/kg, administered by the same routes.
