1. Aspergillosis (Fungal Infection)

• Cause: Aspergillus fungus (often from moldy bedding or poor ventilation)
• Affects: Respiratory system (lungs, air sacs)
• Symptoms:
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Lethargy
  • Voice changes
  • Weight loss
• Very common in captive falcons in hot, humid conditions
• Treatment:  Itraconazole / Voriconazole

2. Trichomoniasis (Canker)

• Cause: Trichomonas gallinae (protozoan parasite)
• Spread through: infected prey (like pigeons)
• Symptoms:
  • Yellow lesions in mouth/throat
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Loss of appetite
• Common in falcon birds
• Treatment: Metronidazole / Ronidazole / Carnidazole
